Objectives
- To identify the potential of agro-food industry residues for the development of growing media and obtention of biostimulants, based on their composition in organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, among others; through fermentation or hydrolysis methods.
- To design biofertilizer formulations and analyze their final composition and stability.
- To conduct field trials demonstrating the biofertilizing activity of these formulations.

Thanks to this project, Cannabis Biotechnological Developments was able to develop the internal project BIOSTIMULANT & NUTRITION, with which we obtained several solutions focused on the specific needs of medical cannabis crop:
- ROUTE STIM, an organic biostimulant of cannabinoid synthesis, made of secondary metabolites.
- SEED STARTER, improves the nascence and vigor of the newly germinated seedlings.
- ROOT ACTIVE, an organic activator of the root system.
- IMMUNO SHIELD, a natural inducer of the Cannabis sativa L. crop’s defenses.
