Objectives

  • To design three different consortiums of beneficial microorganisms for the soil (two of them for specific high-value crops and the other of a general purpose) that colonize the plant roots, to promote the growth and well-being of plants cultivated in previously disinfected soils.
  • To increase crop yield and improve the organoleptic properties of the fruits obtained.
  • To improve the plant’s overall performance.
  • To increase plants’ tolerance against biotic and abiotic conditions, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Projection

Thanks to this project Cannabis Biotechnological Developments was able to develop the internal project FUNGI CONTROL, with which we obtained several solutions focused on specific needs of medical Cannabis crop:

  • BACT UP, a liquid, stabilized, and highly concentrated bacterial inoculant of the genus Azospirillum brasilense.
  • TRIDEKO, biofungicide for the control of phytopathogenic fungi such as Fitophtora, Fusarium, Rizoctonia, among others
